Booking Storage Bin Items

• Adjustment of the posting functions so that the bin entries within the posting functions are collected in a temporary record and are posted in batch at the end of the posting function
• Reason: Posting the bin entries during the postings leads to a blocking of the "Warehouse Entry" table (looktable). This means that scanning functions can no longer access this table

Availability

• Based on the location contained in the sales line

Allocation

• Based on the storage location in the assignment document
• Calculation of the allocation taking into account the field "Zone Group Assignment" for storage space-managed warehouses

Stock Transport Order

• Possibility to transfer stock transfers to the same storage location, but with different from/to locations within the transfer order
• However, this applies ONLY to the booking of the transfers without transit!

Calculation of key figures

• The KPI calculation for the WHS KPIs is done using the codeunit 5232652 "Calc. WHS Keydata Mgt."
• Application e.g. in page 7374 "Bin Contents"

Inventory

Basics

• There are fundamental differences in the BC standard inventory if the indicator "Controlled deposit. u. Kommiss." Is set or NOT set.

Inventory with the flag "Controlled deposit. U. Kommiss."

• The Microsoft Dynamics BC standard functions are used, which have been supplemented by comfort functions. NO adjustments have been made to the inventory codeunit!

• Use of the "Compensatory Bin Code" virtual bin from the storage location

• Determination of the differences per article variant & storage location via an MDE function, which posts the differences (positive & negative) to the clearing location of the storage location
• Variant 2
• Using the Logistics Inventory Book Sheet (Page 5232660, Edit Journal Sheet Action Button)
• Action button "Calculate Inventory" determines the inventory per SKU and storage location
• Manually enter the differences in the Physical Inventory Quantity field
• Booking of the inventory via the action button "Register"
  • NO inventory entries are created, but storage bin entries are still created for the balancing bin bin with the quantity 0 via SKUs WITHOUT difference!
  • Differences are posted to the compensation parking space
