Identification numbers

Description

The solution is intended to expand the BC standard with convenience functions. All facilities and bookings of the standard will not be adjusted.

In concrete terms, this means: - Using the Item Tracking Codes on the Item - Using the Item Tracking Lines in the Documents and in the Book Sheet - No "abuse" of the standard fields Serial No. and Lot No. in the book sheet

Inventory book sheet:

The function for building the book sheet has been reduced to the standard for the identification numbers. This means that the fields for serial and batch numbers are not filled (for other purposes), but the expected quantity of the article variant for the storage location is displayed in one line. The corresponding identification numbers must then be assigned to the incoming and outgoing quantities via the tracking lines.

Attention: The BC standard does not offer any support in the book sheet to automatically derive the missing identification numbers for the posting from expected identification numbers and those found. The procedure in the standard for the book sheet is: - Creating the Inventory Book Sheet - Printout of the inventory list incl. identification numbers - Carrying out the inventory in the printed report - Capture of unfound identifiers via the tracking lines

A more convenient way to process identification numbers in the inventory is the inventory order.

Attention: If you are using ID numbers, the check mark for using the query must be deactivated in the FN setup, otherwise no expected tracking lines will be created. The Calculate Rows function creates rows per storage location and item variants.

For identification numbers, Expected Tracking Lines are also created. These are also available on the posted physical inventory order, which ensures that the inventory can be traced for each identification number. (since the physical inventory item itself does not contain any information about the identification numbers)

In the inventory entry, serial and lot numbers are entered per line by default. This means that there are no tracking lines at this point In addition, the scan field is also available for identification numbers. When the inventory order is completed, BC automatically calculates the variance from the expected and counted identification numbers and writes the appropriate reservation items.

The line function can be used to open the inventory tracking overview for different series and batch numbers for the completed inventory order.

Etikettendruck

In all functions in label printing, an adjustment has been made for the identification numbers so that the data can be pulled from the appropriate source (reservation line, item item).
