In BE-Fashion, the collections are defined by a code, a description and optionally a theme. The collections also have an assignment to a season.
Exactly one collection can be assigned to each item.
The brand is assigned to the collection. Collection building blocks can also be selected.
The collection is defined in more detail in the specification area based on department/main product group/product group, the target group and the price level. Planning is carried out on quantities and prices as well as DB and turnover. The number of items as well as the colors and item options are planned.
The Item Options pane lists the associated models.
The manufacturer is selected from the details.
For more information, see Collection Master Plan.
Articles can be listed in the PDM as models or as ingredients.
The article creation is therefore done via the model map, which represents a differentiated view of the articles.

Furthermore, ingredients (e.g. buttons, logos, ...) can be maintained in the system in order to be able to manage parts lists and, if necessary, ingredient inventories. Ingredients are also items that can be separated from other items by means of a label. Ingredients can be managed, analogous to the models, with colors, sizes and sizes.
For each ingredient, several suppliers and a main supplier, prices (purchase and retail) and any number of external documents can be stored.
